Mission Statement: It is the mission of the Oakes Police Department Community Service Program to provide the local court system with alternative sentencing and to provide community involvement by placing individuals in a volunteer work area where they are able to give back to their communities.

Program Information: Offenders are referred to our agency to complete community service. Once they contact our office, fill out the necessary paperwork, and pay their program fee; they are assigned to nonprofit or government agencies. Work is completed and then is approved through our office. We then contact the court to verify that community service has been completed.

Referral Procedures: Offenders are referred from the Southeast Judicial District Court, Southeast Juvenile Court, North Dakota Parole and Probation, and North Dakota Community Corrections Association Programs.

Fee Schedule:
Intake Fee $50.00
Case Re-Open Fee $50.00
Transfer Fee $30.00
