Serving the following counties:
Grand Forks, Nelson (Eastern half), Steele (Northern Half), Traill (Northern Half) and Walsh.

Mission Statement: The mission of the Greater Grand Forks Community Service Program is to evaluate the risks and needs of the offender in order to safely place offenders within Grand Forks and the surrounding communities to work community service as not only a benefit to the public but to also provide offenders with an opportunity to exhibit contrition, reparation and compensation for the crimes they have committed and act as a deterrent to future criminal acts.

Referral Procedures: Referrals are received from Grand Forks District and Municipal Court, ND Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, and Grand Forks County Social Services. Additional referrals may come from other community service programs throughout North Dakota or corrections agencies in other states. Each person is evaluated through a risk assessment guide to determine safe placement in the community. We have 125 non-profit or government agencies in a five county area, which accept and supervise our clients while they work their community service hours and in turn they receive free labor.
